Tamworth
Tamworth is a town in Staffordshire, England and owes its name to having River Tame run through it. The town which has been a settlement for centuries is 166km from London and 23km from Birmingham. The Anglo-Saxon Kingdom of Merica had its capital at Tamworth and has impressive historic houses such as Moat House, Tamworth Castle and Church of St Editha. Clothing, logistics, paper manufacturing, bricks, tiles and engineering are the major industries in the town.
